The biggest Secret to MLM Success is that there ARE NO SECRETS
Every network marketer in the universe who has never experienced true success, I always wants to know what the secret is. What is it that is holding themselves back from having any type of success in network marketing. Why are their some people that succeed to unbelievable levels and others that really never seem to get there regardless of how hard they try.
The reason is really pretty simple – when you realize that the biggest secret to MLM Success is that there are No Secrets – you’ll start to open your mind up to the ideas and strategies that successful network marketers are already using.
Think of it this way,
There are no secrets, there are just things you don’t know yet.
When you take that kind of mentality into your business, you’ll continuously learn new things. Everything that used to seem so complicated will suddenly become much more easy to implement into your daily routine. You see, there are people out there who are wildly successful in their business and what you’ll notice is that they are very different yet very similar.
They all have a system that works for them but the system that they use may not work for you. It’s your job to find a system that works for you and is attracting the kind of people you want to work.
Here are some examples:
- If you are the type of person who is not comfortable talking to people then you need to have a system you can use where you don’t have to do that (or at least as little as possible). Many times, network marketers try and force themselves to become good at things they don’t need to be good if they would just leverage a system that fits their skill set
- Opposite to that is if you are a ‘talker’ and your upline is trying to teach you how to do things online. That would be like trying to fit a round peg into a square whole – it just doesn’t work
- What if you wanted to put on home meetings but your upline team said the only way you’d ever make any money would be to go to hotel meetings – how do you think that would work for you? Not that good I bet.
These are the reasons that people get frustrated in network marketing. It’s not because they don’t get it. It’s not because there are secrets that only a special few know and it’s definitely not about trying to grow yourself to become someone you are not. It’s all about finding a system that works for you.
For those of you that are in the game (the MLM game that is), you may have to switch companies to get a restart.
For those of you that don’t have your vehicle to quit your job early yet – you need to do 2 things before you make any decisions
- Do an honest, personal assessment on yourself to determine what type of system you want to be a part of
- Ask the right questions to potential upline members in and don’t join anyone until you know you are going to get exactly what you need.
Here’s what I think you should be looking for
-
- A personality type that meshes with yours
- An upline who has a system that has been proven to work
- Business partners (upline) who can teach you how to generate leads online and help you successfully develop business within your warm market.
If you can make yourself feel confident in the upline you choose then you are on your way to success. If not, then I would suggest you take a serious and hard look at your situation and make the appropriate adjustment.
The best-kept secret is that you (and everyone else in network marketing) just need to keep asking the right questions until you find the right match.
So the fact is that the biggest secret to MLM success is really know secret at all – you just need to learn more.
