MLM Attraction Marketing Rule #2, Teaching Sells.

If you are just about to start your network marketing business, you’ll succeed much faster if you follow the MLM Attraction Marketing rule #2, Teaching Sells. What do you like to do more? Teach people about something that you like and are good at, or sell the way your network marketing company is telling you to sell (the traditional cookie cutter style – AKA: write a names list and phone people with your opportunity)? I know for a fact you’d rather teach something you know about. That’s what the stats show. You would be more comfortable putting your personal touch on the network marketing business model than you would be, using a ‘flip-chart’ or a ‘hotel meeting’ that you know most of your friends and family will not be impressed with.

Everyone likes to teach, but far less people like to sell. When you go into a store, where you are thinking about buying something that you don’t know a whole lot about (Ex: Car, TV, Home Entertainment System, Computer), what type of salesman do you like to buy from.

Which person is more likely to attract your attention

Which person is more likely to attract your attention?

Do you like the type that gives a super hard sell with no personality? Do you like the type that tells you the basics but you get the feeling that it’s ‘hard work’ for him/her to muster up enough energy to help you out? Or, do you like the salesman, who has a personality, is willing to teach you about the different options and makes you feel like they are genuinely interested in helping you find the right fit for you? I’m betting you’d choose the third type of salesman over all the others. It’s been proven time and time again that the best salesman in the world are the best at ‘teaching’ the benefits of the product or service to the customer.

The bottom line is that if you remember MLM Attraction Marketing rule #2 – Teaching sells, you’re business will benefit greatly from it.

5 MLM Secrets that I hate to call Secrets.

I call these things MLM Secrets but they really just things that you need to know. And when you look hard enough the information is out there for you , you just have to find it.

So here are ‘5 MLM Secrets’ that most network marketers usually don’t want you to know.

#1: It’s OK to focus on Product Sales

It’s OK to focus on product sales even though most network marketers (and yes, I was guilty of this at one time in my life) focus so much on sponsoring people, they forget about what is important – Product Sales.

#2: Network Marketing Isn’t As Different As Everyone Wants You To Think

Network Marketing really isn’t that different from any other business, your upline just wants you to think it is.

Just think about the franchise system works for business greats such as McDonalds and Subway? What do they do that most network marketers don’t do… they answer is pretty simple – they provide value and they have alignment in their goals right from the start. Network marketers seem to wanna over complicate things all the time

#3: Choose Your Upline Carefully

Choose your upline – I could write about this until the end of time because it is just so important for your success. The network marketing industry seems to get a free pass when it comes to people doing their due diligence. For whatever reason, people seem to think they will be successful in the industry without ever spending any amount of time research who their upline might be and what kind of credentials they have. Or who are they working with who does. If you are new to network marketing or are contemplating a switch make sure you ask the right question to make it happen.

#4: You Will Determine Your Success

Contrary to popular belief – you are in control of your own success

I’ll keep it pretty simple. The only person who can accept responsibility for you is you. Don’t let your upline make you think you need them to be successful. Don’t get me wrong – your upline can be valuable knowledge base to learn from BUT only you can determine whether you are successful or not.

#5 – Company Sales Tools May Not Be ‘All Their Cracked Up To Be’

Some Company websites and some company events may not be all that they are cracked up to be.

Seriously. If you go through your companies website, and you don’t feel like it will work for you then don’t use it. It’s like anything else – if you can’t see yourself being successful with it then you’ll never will. Some companies have great websites but some have absolute crap (for sales anyway). Don’t use a company site just because someone else says so – use it because you like it. If you don’t like then you either need to develop your own (not as hard as you think – I just followed this system and learned within a couple of hours.

The Real MLM Secret: There Is No Secret!!!

The only Real MLM Secret, is that there are no secrets.

Everywhere you look on the internet these days, you’ll find some BS about about how someone has figured out the Real MLM Secret to success. It’s bull$^&%. There are no secrets when it comes to MLM or network marketing. There aren’t even any secrets for marketing on the internet. If you are like I used to be and thought that someone else had that magic button and all need to do was figure out there secrets then I could have the ‘Magic Button’ to, get over it. There is no magic button. You aren’t going to find an automated system that allows you to purchase it and then let you sit back and make tons of money. It’s just not out there.

The fact is that whatever it is that you want to accomplish, you are going to have to figure out and implement some strategies that accomplish your goals. The reason people in the internet marketing circles are so fond of using the Secret in there marketing campaigns is because people are attracted to it. Hell, I even have a ‘major’ article on this blog that is title 5 MLM Secrets That You Need To Know. Truth be told there not secrets at all. I just call them secrets because I know people think there are secrets out there that they aren’t being told and because of that they find my website.

The only thing you need to know when it comes to being successful in network marketing is that you all of the answers are available to you if you really want to find them. You can generate leads and business online. You can have success in your warm market. You can build a successful business without having to spend a whole bunch of money to do it BUT you have to be willing to build the foundation that allows you to reap the rewards for years to come.

If you’ve been looking for an MLM Secret that is going to change your fortunes, the only place you need to look is in the mirror.
