I call these things MLM Secrets but they really just things that you need to know. And when you look hard enough the information is out there for you , you just have to find it.
So here are ‘5 MLM Secrets’ that most network marketers usually don’t want you to know.
It’s OK to focus on product sales even though most network marketers (and yes, I was guilty of this at one time in my life) focus so much on sponsoring people, they forget about what is important – Product Sales.
Network Marketing really isn’t that different from any other business, your upline just wants you to think it is.
Just think about the franchise system works for business greats such as McDonalds and Subway? What do they do that most network marketers don’t do… they answer is pretty simple – they provide value and they have alignment in their goals right from the start. Network marketers seem to wanna over complicate things all the time
Choose your upline – I could write about this until the end of time because it is just so important for your success. The network marketing industry seems to get a free pass when it comes to people doing their due diligence. For whatever reason, people seem to think they will be successful in the industry without ever spending any amount of time research who their upline might be and what kind of credentials they have. Or who are they working with who does. If you are new to network marketing or are contemplating a switch make sure you ask the right question to make it happen.
Contrary to popular belief – you are in control of your own success
I’ll keep it pretty simple. The only person who can accept responsibility for you is you. Don’t let your upline make you think you need them to be successful. Don’t get me wrong – your upline can be valuable knowledge base to learn from BUT only you can determine whether you are successful or not.
Some Company websites and some company events may not be all that they are cracked up to be.
Seriously. If you go through your companies website, and you don’t feel like it will work for you then don’t use it. It’s like anything else – if you can’t see yourself being successful with it then you’ll never will. Some companies have great websites but some have absolute crap (for sales anyway). Don’t use a company site just because someone else says so – use it because you like it. If you don’t like then you either need to develop your own (not as hard as you think – I just followed this system and learned within a couple of hours.

Every network marketer in the universe who has never experienced true success, I always wants to know what the secret is. What is it that is holding themselves back from having any type of success in network marketing. Why are their some people that succeed to unbelievable levels and others that really never seem to get there regardless of how hard they try.
The reason is really pretty simple – when you realize that the biggest secret to MLM Success is that there are No Secrets – you’ll start to open your mind up to the ideas and strategies that successful network marketers are already using.
Think of it this way,
When you take that kind of mentality into your business, you’ll continuously learn new things. Everything that used to seem so complicated will suddenly become much more easy to implement into your daily routine. You see, there are people out there who are wildly successful in their business and what you’ll notice is that they are very different yet very similar.
They all have a system that works for them but the system that they use may not work for you. It’s your job to find a system that works for you and is attracting the kind of people you want to work.

These are the reasons that people get frustrated in network marketing. It’s not because they don’t get it. It’s not because there are secrets that only a special few know and it’s definitely not about trying to grow yourself to become someone you are not. It’s all about finding a system that works for you.
For those of you that are in the game (the MLM game that is), you may have to switch companies to get a restart.

If you can make yourself feel confident in the upline you choose then you are on your way to success. If not, then I would suggest you take a serious and hard look at your situation and make the appropriate adjustment.
The best-kept secret is that you (and everyone else in network marketing) just need to keep asking the right questions until you find the right match.
So the fact is that the biggest secret to MLM success is really know secret at all – you just need to learn more.

I also believe that the best product you can sell to other people is a product that you have used and have experienced the benefit that the product brings you.

Everywhere you look on the internet these days, you’ll find some BS about about how someone has figured out the Real MLM Secret 
to success. It’s bull$^&%. There are no secrets when it comes to MLM or network marketing. There aren’t even any secrets for marketing on the internet. If you are like I used to be and thought that someone else had that magic button and all need to do was figure out there secrets then I could have the ‘Magic Button’ to, get over it. There is no magic button. You aren’t going to find an automated system that allows you to purchase it and then let you sit back and make tons of money. It’s just not out there.
The fact is that whatever it is that you want to accomplish, you are going to have to figure out and implement some strategies that accomplish your goals. The reason people in the internet marketing circles are so fond of using the Secret in there marketing campaigns is because people are attracted to it. Hell, I even have a ‘major’ article on this blog that is title 5 MLM Secrets That You Need To Know. Truth be told there not secrets at all. I just call them secrets because I know people think there are secrets out there that they aren’t being told and because of that they find my website.

Because this site is called Quit Your Job Early, you probably already know how we would answer the above question – we’d take the Residual Income Streams any day of the week… And Unless you are one of the ‘lucky few’ who actually loves their job, I would guess that you’d prefer to be earning residual income rather than going into work every day too.
The question is rarely whether people want to earn Residual Income Streams but more of a question of how can someone earn them without risking everything they have and completely altering their lifestyle. I’d say that’s a pretty good question, wouldn’t you. I have a theory that most people’s dreams get smaller as there age gets older. I also believe that a big part of that is because their JOB wears them down. It becomes ’stale’ and a ‘necessity’ rather than an ‘invigorating’ and ‘exciting’ place where they spend their time.
I have a lot of respect for anyone that works hard to supply for the needs of their family. I think that having a JOB is going to be a necessity for most people at some point in their life (and in a lot of cases, all of their life) but I also know that their are ways to put yourself in a position to not have a job and they all have one common denominator – Leverage.
When I say that a job gets stale and becomes a ‘necessity’ I mean that people lose their ‘get up and go’ and replace it with ‘I have to go because that’s just the way the world works’. I think a big reason that people wear down as they get more and more comfortable in their jobs is because they see believe that they are really worth more. They believe that they have more to offer the world and either their job doesn’t pay enough or it takes up all of their time. Take a look at this graph.
Traditional Job Income Projection
One of the things about having a job is that there is a ceiling on your income that you have no control over. If you have JOB, your reality is that you are allowing someone else to determine what you’re worth which can be a good thing and/or a bad thing depending on what your personal situation is. There were times when I was building my business and residual income streams that I thought that having a job would be a good thing BUT those thoughts quickly passed when I remembered how much I hated feeling constrained when I did have one. If you believe that you have a lot to offer the world and want to control your own financial situation then you have to find a way to quit your job early and take control.
As is diplayed in the diagram above, it doesn’t matter what point you’re at in your career, if you want to make more income, you will have to prove to someone else (your boss or another company that wants to pay you more than your current company) that you are worthy of your pay. Typically that process takes time. A traditional career will play out something like this.
I know steps 1-3 because I experienced them first hand when I came out of college
I made a conscious decision to take control and attempt to earn residual income streams because I believed that they would give me a better chance to live my perfect lifestyle. When you earn residual income streams you’re income projection will go from the example above to one of unlimited potential (represented below)

Don’t kid yourself though. Earning residual income will take work. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming work, it just needs to be consistent and effective work. It may take you 6 months to replace your current income, it might take you 5-10 years to replace it, but does it really matter if it allows you to live your perfect lifestyle while you’re young rather than waiting until your 65 and retired from your JOB.
