Warm Market MLM Prospecting: Even If It’s Not A Market You Want To Pursue – You Need To Be Able To Show Some Of Your Business Partner How To Do It

Often overlooked in the network marketing circles these days is the importance of Warm Market MLM Prospecting. Whether you want to admit it or not, you need to have a Warm Market MLM Prospecting strategy that works because even if you never use it, you’ll find people through your cold marketing strategy who will excel within their warm markets. The last thing you want to be doing is telling them that warm market prospecting doesn’t work. That will just make them falter rather than excel. That’s why you need to know a strategy that develops warm market success even if you never intend to implement the strategies yourself. You can’t depend solely on MLM Lead Generation Online if you want to have sustained Passive Income Streams coming your way for year to come.

Through my experience I’ve learned that you can separate people into 5 different groups, 4 of which exist within only the warm market group.

For the 4 warm market groups you’ve got are the:

  1. Truster – People who trust you so much that they don’t care what it is, they will join you because it is you
  2. Analyzer – Someone who trusts you but they won’t join you without doing their own research
  3. Watcher – The people that want to see it work for you before they join you and attempt it themselves
  4. Sitter – AKA: The dead end. These people like you and trust you but they just don’t see what you see in the opportunity to generate passive income.

The cold market people can all be clumped into one group. This group can also include warm market people.

  1. Seekers – These are people who are actively looking for an opportunity to earn more money or make a change in their lifestyle. You will find them in your warm and cold markets.

For each of these categories there are different development processes that occur as you educate them about how valuable you, and your offer can be for them, but the order of how those processes occur will be very different.

These are the different areas of growth that will occur as people develop their trust in your offer:

  1. Personal Trust
  2. Business Opportunity/Product Trust
  3. Join you as a Business Partner/Preferred Customer
  4. You have Proven and Quantifiable Results
  5. Not Interested and Never Will Be

1 – Truster

  • These people have such a high level of personal trust in you, they will join (become a preferred customer/business partner) based on that alone. They do all their learning about the business after they have signed on the dotted line. You will usually get your fastest results from this group of people but remember, fast results don’t necessarily mean long-term results. How long-term your results will be with this group will depend a lot on the type of people you are talking to, how well your system communicates the value of what you are offering and whether or not they are happy in their current situation.

2 – Analyzer

  • These people have a high level of trust in you as a person but they prefer to do things based on their research, not on your recommendation. These people will take longer to educate but as long as you have a good offer, they will become your business partner or customer. Patience is a virtue with this group.

3 – Watcher

  • These people have trust in you but they want to see you get results before they put much consideration into joining your business. Once you get results from the Trusters, Analyzers and Seekers, they will be very attracted to your product or business.

4 – Sitter

  • Don’t worry about these people. Don’t waste time on people who are dead ends.

5 – Seekers

  • The seekers are the people that are actively pursuing a change, or an addition, to their money making ways. You will find these people in your cold market and your warm market. They will be attracted to your business opportunity or your knowledge of a particular industry that they are interested in. As you provide them with more information, they will begin to trust you as a person and eventually join you as a customer or business partner. These results will help you with the watcher group from your warm market.

Naturally, there will be some overlap between these groups but when you understand the mentality of these groups; it makes it a lot easier for you to implement a Warm Market MLM Prospecting Plan that works for the long term. The biggest question that you’ll be asking yourself is where should you start? That’s a great question but it’s one that I cannot give you an answer for because I don’t know your history, personality, or your skill set. All I can give you is what the results have shown and help you understand what would be best for you to do for yourself and what to advise your team.

The numbers (1-5) really don’t mean anything in terms of the actual amount of time it takes to produce results. They are simply there to indicate which tactics have been proven to get the quickest results. Not the longest results, but the quickest results.

When looking at this chart, keep in mind what really makes your network marketing business grow. What makes your business develop the fastest?

Duplication, Duplication, Duplication

All you have to do is look at how a business grows (see diagram below – example of a binary program) to understand that the ideal situation for you to build your business around is to have an MLM Prospecting system where people are put into a position to duplicate quickly.

With that in mind and the results displayed on the previous chart, the obvious place to start your marketing efforts is with the people you know as long as you are comfortable in doing so. You get the fastest results with these people because there is already a trust level there and it will put you in a positive cash flow very quickly. With that being said, I also understand that talking to your ‘Truster’ is the last thing some of you want to hear. You would rather stick needles under your fingernails than have to talk to people you know about the business, or products you are marketing. You’d rather get results first from your online lead generation strategies and then go to your warm market with a proven system that gives proven results. I get that scenario because I’ve felt like that before. For those of you who are really ‘down’ on the idea of marketing to people you know, I want you to keep 2 things in mind

  1. I’ve mentioned this before but because it is so important I’m going to mention it again. Even if you choose to only build your business through cold market business development strategies (AKA: MLM Lead Generation Online) you are still going to have to have a system that allows people to build their business within in their warm market. For example, what happens if your marketing attracts a very talented, young entrepreneur to your opportunity that knows he/she is capable of capitalizing on their warm market and your training only shows them how to market to the cold market effectively? This person would either struggle to find clarity or they would find a different opportunity that fit their style a lot better. Do you want that?…….. “I didn’t think so.”
  2. What do the numbers tell you??? This entire business is about having as fast a duplication rate as you possibly can which means you want to, at the very least, give yourself and your business partners an opportunity to duplicate very rapidly. The numbers don’t lie. The more product you sell, and the faster you sell it, the more income you will earn. If you are a ‘business type’ person who is marketing the business opportunity, then the faster you duplicate business owners, the more product you will sell which means you’ll be earning more income within a very short period of time. The numbers below are the results of simple duplication rates that occur within a company that will remain unnamed.

If you can create these kinds of results by simply training basic duplication strategies within a continuous warm market, would it not make sense to give your business partners the opportunity to market to the group of people where they are most likely to get the fastest results? I would say that it does and that’s one of the reasons why it’s so important to use a system that markets to both the warm and cold markets.

With that in mind this is the exact marketing order I advise my business partners to use

1. Start with the Seeker’s (Warm Market)

2. Then move to the Truster’s

3. Then initiate the dialogue with the Analyzer’s

4. Then start the marketing strategies for the Seeker’s (Cold Market)

5. Then take your results from above and show them to the Watcher

Now before some of you get ‘in a huff’ about being told the first place you should market to is your warm market, give me a chance to explain.

You can still win big by only marketing to the Seekers (cold market) but you have to remain cognoscente of the fact that some people that you find through your cold market business development strategies will be able to capitalize on this market with incredible success. You DO NOT want to have these people get discouraged because they are being told to do things that don’t put them in a position of strength.

Here’s the thing you will like to hear. I’ve told you all along that this MLM prospecting system can almost guarantee you long-term success in this industry as long as you implement the strategies involved. I cannot guarantee you success in marketing to the Trusters because I don’t know you and I don’t know who your Trusters are. I cannot guarantee you success in marketing to the Analyzers for the same reasons as the Trusters. Success in those 2 markets depends on you, your circle of influence, and how well you implement the Attraction Marketing Strategies to make your offer irresistible (I’ll expand on this in a minute). The thing that you are really going to like to learn is that there is one place where

By learning how to attract people to your business over the internet you will not only have a never ending source of leads but you will also have an incredible advantage when you go and market to the people you know. Why is that you ask? Well, the diagram below displays the reasons why.

You are going to market to one, some, or all of the people who fall into to the Truster, Analyzer, and the Seeker categories. Within these groups people will fall into one of three interest levels. A percentage of people will join you. A percentage of people will decide they aren’t interested anymore and the highest percentage of people will become a Watcher. That’s why it’s so important for you to implement an Internet marketing strategy where the ‘Watcher can easily watch’ (Ex: Email Marketing). As you get better and better results with the Seekers, the people who became Watchers will gain a higher level of trust and respect for your offer and a percentage of them will become your business partners. It’s that simple.

I often compare the results you get in network marketing with the statistics that makes a great baseball player. A great baseball player gets paid millions of dollars to fail more than he succeeds. What do the best players in the world have as a batting average? .300 right? A .300 batting average means that they get on base an average of 3 times out of every 10 at bats. That means they fail 70% of the time yet that is an acceptable failure rate in the world of baseball. Think of your network marketing business in the same way. Accept the fact that there are going to be more people who say no to you when you first introduce them to the plan than there are that are going to say yes. If you understand this going in, then your business development will be so much easier because you’ll understand that each no means you are one step closer to your yes. You’ll be focused on the people that express interest by being attracted to your offer. What you are learning to do with this MLM prospecting system is to increase your average by understanding the marketing flow and integrating your marketing strategies. As displayed above you’ll have people who go from a Truster, Analyzer or Seeker to a Watcher and then join you as a business partner. By consistently engaging the people who don’t immediately join you as a business partner in your marketing strategies, they will see your results and gravitate towards joining you in your business. This increases your average, which means more time and money for you; which means you’ll be in a position to live your perfect lifestyle; which means you’ll be able to Leave Your Legacy; and that’s the whole goal right?

Before we move on to the 5 Rules of Attraction Marketing, I want you to identify whether or not you are in a position to market your warm market. No one can force you to market to people you know but unless you’ve burned all of your bridges in previous opportunities, it is a market where you can experience incredibly fast results. You’ve got a level of trust with these people, which means you don’t have to spend anytime establishing trust. This makes the whole process move along a lot faster. If you are a person who sees potential in developing you’re warm market then I’m going to ask for your forgiveness in advance and ask you to make a list of people you know. If you’ve done it before, I want you to do it again because we are going to add a whole bunch of variables to it that is going to simplify the process and identify the area’s you’ll have success in. Here are the steps I want you to follow.

  1. List all the people you know, with no pre-judgment of who may, or may not be, interested in your business/product. (I know this is a little old school but stick with me on this)
    • Facts show the average person has friendly, trusting relations with 150 people. Your list doesn’t have to be this long but the more the better.
  2. Take your list and identify the people that you would be okay with coming to you with an offer to learn/do something with them (it doesn’t matter what offer, just think any offer about anything – fun/business/recreational) – chances are it will include most of these people
    • If you’re comfortable with them coming to you then, more than likely, they will be comfortable with you coming to them with an offer. (We’ll teach you how to implement a few strategies to make sure they feel attracted to it rather than feel like they are being recruited)
  3. Separate this list into 3 areas’s based on their knowledge of the network marketing business model.
    • Yes, they understand or have been involved with a network marketing before
    • No, they haven’t been involved in network marketing before
    • You don’t know the answer to this.
  4. From this categorized list, give each name on the list a primary category and secondary category whenever possible (secondary category will usually only include the ‘seeker’ label)

For Example:

Bill: Truster

Janice: Truster, Seeker

Dave: Analyzer, Seeker

If you are having trouble-identifying people on your list then label them as an Analyzer with an asterisk

Tom: Analyzer*

At this point your list should have 3 columns of names (People who know network-marketing, People who don’t know network marketing, and people that you don’t know if they know network marketing) and each name should be identified with at least one category. This makes it a lot easier to know what types of questions you may have to answer, what information they may want and the type of Up-Line support you should use, if any.

Your goal in network marketing is to get yourself some fast results and then build credibility as a network marketer by showing consistent and quantifiable successes over time. With that in mind this is the order of the people you will approach 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on.

  1. Truster-Seekers
  2. Seekers
  3. Trusters
  4. Analyzer-Seekers
  5. Analyzers*
  6. Watchers
  7. Seekers (Cold Market)
  8. Sitters

This order is designed to get you results quickly and identify how to develop long-term growth. Some people would just skip over markets 5 and 6 but if you were confident in yourself, and your business partners, you would still give them an opportunity to learn because you may have mis-interpreted their interest level. The only way you’ll figure out whether you are right or wrong in your analysis of these people is to introduce them to your product or business. The seekers are an area where you’ll find a lot of success because these are the people who will find you through the online marketing strategies that we are going to teach you to implement (re: MLM Lead Generation Online). If you’ve identified anyone as a Sitter, it’s probably a waste of time to ever give them an opportunity to join you. You want people who want what you have but because people can change their tune when they see your results, you may find that you’ll even find success in this group of people.

As I stated earlier, the only places that I can guarantee you success, is with the Watchers and the Seekers because I don’t know you and I don’t if you have the mindset to win within your warm market. If you go through, or have gone through, the process of marketing to your warm market and have had little success so far, don’t fret. All you need to do is start applying the attraction marketing formula online to begin benefiting from multiple streams of passive income:

That’s as simple as it gets. You don’t need anything else to Quit Your Job Early. Just apply these principles and you will win big. You may win a little faster if you and your future business partners can build through a continuous warm market but it doesn’t matter how you get there; as long as you get there and you do it by treating people right.

Building your downline through, only your warm market can be a daunting task. Especially, if you don’t have a plan to follow.
