5 MLM Secrets that I hate to call Secrets.
I call these things MLM Secrets but they really just things that you need to know. And when you look hard enough the information is out there for you , you just have to find it.
So here are ‘5 MLM Secrets’ that most network marketers usually don’t want you to know.
#1: It’s OK to focus on Product Sales
It’s OK to focus on product sales even though most network marketers (and yes, I was guilty of this at one time in my life) focus so much on sponsoring people, they forget about what is important – Product Sales.
#2: Network Marketing Isn’t As Different As Everyone Wants You To Think
Network Marketing really isn’t that different from any other business, your upline just wants you to think it is.
Just think about the franchise system works for business greats such as McDonalds and Subway? What do they do that most network marketers don’t do… they answer is pretty simple – they provide value and they have alignment in their goals right from the start. Network marketers seem to wanna over complicate things all the time
#3: Choose Your Upline Carefully
Choose your upline – I could write about this until the end of time because it is just so important for your success. The network marketing industry seems to get a free pass when it comes to people doing their due diligence. For whatever reason, people seem to think they will be successful in the industry without ever spending any amount of time research who their upline might be and what kind of credentials they have. Or who are they working with who does. If you are new to network marketing or are contemplating a switch make sure you ask the right question to make it happen.
#4: You Will Determine Your Success
Contrary to popular belief – you are in control of your own success
I’ll keep it pretty simple. The only person who can accept responsibility for you is you. Don’t let your upline make you think you need them to be successful. Don’t get me wrong – your upline can be valuable knowledge base to learn from BUT only you can determine whether you are successful or not.
#5 – Company Sales Tools May Not Be ‘All Their Cracked Up To Be’
Some Company websites and some company events may not be all that they are cracked up to be.
Seriously. If you go through your companies website, and you don’t feel like it will work for you then don’t use it. It’s like anything else – if you can’t see yourself being successful with it then you’ll never will. Some companies have great websites but some have absolute crap (for sales anyway). Don’t use a company site just because someone else says so – use it because you like it. If you don’t like then you either need to develop your own (not as hard as you think – I just followed this system and learned within a couple of hours.
